Seller Terms.
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when you list anything on Specksy. By publishing a listing you accept them.
1. Trader or private individual
Before your first listing you must tell us whether you sell as a trader (in the course of a business, trade or profession) or as a private individual. We show this on your listings. You must answer truthfully and update it if it changes. Traders must comply with consumer-protection law towards their buyers.
2. What you may sell
Only content and services you have every right to sell. You warrant that your listings, files and deliveries are your own work or that you hold all rights and licences needed, that they do not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, and that they are free of malware. You grant buyers the licence you choose on the listing (see Licenses). You will compensate Specksy for claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty.
The prohibited-content rules in the Terms of Service apply. Listings must describe honestly what the buyer gets; screenshots and previews must show the actual product.
3. Fees
Specksy charges you 10 % of the listing price for each completed sale. This fee includes VAT. It is deducted from the sale; you receive the price minus the fee. Buyers separately pay a 5 % service fee to Specksy. Each month you receive an invoice for the fees on your service sales and a statement of your digital-goods sales.
4. Payouts
Your earnings from an order become available 48 hours after the order is completed, unless a refund request or dispute is open. You can then withdraw them in RON or PIXEL to a wallet linked to your account. New wallets and changes to your password start a 24-hour security hold on withdrawals. A minimum withdrawal amount and network fees apply.
Before your first payout we ask for your tax details (name, address, country and, if you have one, VAT number).
5. Services
You may decline a service order within 24 hours. If you accept it, deliver by the deadline and honour up to 2 revision requests. If you miss the deadline by 3 days the buyer may cancel for a full refund.
6. Refunds and disputes
If an administrator grants a refund or decides a dispute in the buyer's favour, the refunded amount is not paid out to you, or is recovered from your balance if it already was.
7. Taxes and DAC7 reporting
You are responsible for your own income tax and, for services you sell as a trader, for VAT on those services. For digital goods Specksy is the deemed supplier and accounts for the VAT.
As a platform operator we are legally required to collect information about sellers and report it once a year to the Slovak Financial Administration, which shares it with other EU tax authorities. This covers your name, address, tax identification number, VAT number, date of birth (individuals), the wallets you are paid to and the amounts you earned per quarter. We tell you what we report. If you do not provide the required information after two reminders, we must suspend your payouts and listings.
8. Suspension
We may hide listings or suspend selling if you break these terms or the law, for example for infringing content, repeated late deliveries or misleading listings. We tell you the reason and how to appeal, unless the law prevents it. Money owed to buyers for open orders is handled first; the rest of your balance remains yours.
